Have a Spooky Halloween

The "Headless Horseman" of Old Town, Fort Collins... spotted on my way to work this morning.

Morgan and I are headed out to a Halloween party. We were supposed to wear costumes, but we got busy. So, we will be going as That Lame Couple Who Didn't Wear Costumes. Later tonight, we may curl up on the couch and watch Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow

xo.

Snow!

Last night, it began to snow. And it didn't stop snowing.

Our backyard...

The pups were majorly excited.  They were running in circles like a couple of crazies.

Because of all the snow, M let me open my birthday present early... Fleece-lined snow boots from L.L. Bean. They kept my feet nice and cozy in the snow.

Stay warm out there!

Ladies and Gentlemen... My Husband

This week, I am so happy to have Morgan back. He brings a glorious sense of humor to my world.

Morgan, dancing with little kids at the wedding in NC... typical.

A Husbandless Week

Sorry we have been missing in action this week. Morgan flew out this afternoon for a wedding in North Carolina. He will be gone until Monday, which means I have four days to fill our Netflix queue with as many chick movies as possible.

Today Winston, Lily, and I went to the farm to see the horses and the stunning fall colors.

Winston refused to take off his astronaut helmet.

I don't blame him.

Fall light is my favorite kind of light.

Scenes from the Weekend

Whew. This weekend has been a busy one for us. Morgan preached his first-ever sermon at church today, so he spent a lot of the weekend preparing for that. I was coordinating a wedding all weekend, except for last night when we celebrated our friend Anna's birthday.

Instead of a birthday cake, our friend Anna asked for pies :) I think that was an excellent decision.

Morgan's sermon in our church bulletin. As his wife, I think I am allowed to say that he did a fantastic job and I am so, so proud of him! His sermon was recorded, so if you are interested in hearing it, let me know.

Hope all of you had a wonderful weekend :) xo
